What it brought

Salesforce Functions is generally available, so an app can use additional programming languages and open-source frameworks as elastic compute without managing infrastructure. Lightning Web Security is in beta: a client-side architecture for custom Lightning web components with fewer restrictions and enforced namespace isolation. Flow Orchestrator moves from pilot to beta for no-code multi-user orchestrations, and Dynamic Interactions let components on a Lightning page react to each other, set up in the App Builder. Service gets Incident Management, and Einstein Data Detect reaches GA for finding stray sensitive data. Platform API versions 7.0 through 20.0 are now retired.
