What it brought

Salesforce will turn Lightning Experience on for orgs that have not enabled it, starting January 7, 2020. Second-generation managed packaging reaches general availability for AppExchange partners, and Salesforce CMS goes GA with custom content types and localisation. Shield ships Real-Time Event Monitoring and Enhanced Transaction Security at GA, and legacy transaction security policies are headed for migration. Salesforce Data Mask arrives for anonymising sandbox data. Developers get Lightning Message Service as a developer preview for talking across Aura, Visualforce and Lightning web components. Aura ui-namespace components are scheduled to retire in Summer '21.
