What it brought

Salesforce1 replaced Salesforce Touch in Winter '14 with new mobile apps and a mobile browser app, and the browser app was switched on automatically on 18 November 2013, so anyone logging in from a supported mobile browser landed in the Salesforce1 interface. At 353 notes, Winter '14 is the largest release yet, and Salesforce1 is why. Admins configure it through the navigation menu, publisher actions, search layouts and Visualforce pages. Developers got the Analytics API at version 29.0 for pulling report data into other apps, the Live Agent REST API, and generic streaming as a pilot. Salesforce added Performance Edition and announced the retirement of Forecasts 1.0.
