What it brought
Lightning Web Components are generally available: a second programming model built on standard HTML and JavaScript. Everything built the old way is renamed Aura components; the two can coexist on a page, and custom web components work in communities too. Einstein Next Best Action reaches GA with Strategy Builder, so recommendations can be built from business rules and shown on record and community pages. Lightning Scheduler and High Velocity Sales cadences also ship. A critical update gives notice that Salesforce will start turning on Lightning Experience from Winter '20. Connect for Office and standard Mail Merge are now retired.
