What it brought

Support agents got Case Feed in Spring '12: a feed-based case page with a customizable highlights panel, publishers for email, calls and internal notes, and an inline articles tool. Chatter-style feeds spread into other parts of the product too, across a big, broad release of 145 notes. Siteforce was renamed Site.com and gained dynamic data services, which pull records from Salesforce objects onto public pages and submit web-to-object forms. Salesforce Mobile for Android phones reached general availability, Social Accounts and Contacts went GA, and Data.com Clean was in beta. Orgs without active Windows Mobile users could no longer get the Windows Mobile CRM app.
