What it brought

LockerService ships as a critical update that isolates Lightning components from each other and restricts what their JavaScript can touch. A second update turns access-check warnings into errors. Salesforce Shield packages three tools: encryption at rest, event monitoring and field audit trail. Admins can now create and edit Lightning Experience record pages without a pilot, Visualforce is fully supported in Lightning Experience, and global picklists are in beta. There are 26 retirement notes, among them the start of Internet Explorer 11's retirement from Lightning Experience.
