What it brought

Force.com Sites, enabled on request in Winter '09, publishes public websites built from Visualforce pages on a branded Force.com domain with no login, with guest profiles and syndication feeds; in Developer Edition it remains a developer preview. Visualforce reached further in the same release: Mobile Ready tabs on BlackBerry, email templates that can render PDF attachments, and pages, controllers and static resources that can be packaged. In Apex, dynamic SOQL, SOSL and DML, the future annotation, and virtual and abstract classes all moved to GA, and custom labels added translatable text. Case teams arrived, and Salesforce Ideas gained merging, statuses and community experts. The 13.0 WSDL can no longer be downloaded.
