What it brought

Lightning Web Security became generally available as a new client-side security architecture for Lightning web components, and Salesforce Functions went GA with elastic compute in Java, JavaScript and TypeScript. The multi-factor authentication contractual requirement took effect on February 1, 2022. Developers also got UTAM for UI test automation, and admins got Orchestrator for multiuser processes and Business Rules Engine for policy decisions. Beyond that the release has no single theme: 677 notes led by Industries and Platform, with AI still a small corner of the book.
