What it brought

Enterprise and Developer Editions got salesforce.com Studio in Spring '04, one setup area for custom objects, custom tabs, WSDL download and the new sforce control library, which hosts HTML, applets and ActiveX behind web integration links. Check the sharing change: orgs with a Public Read/Write or Read Only account model were switched to Public Read/Write/Transfer for cases and leads, and account shares had to be reapplied to cases. Sales teams gained a Contracts tab, custom fields on products and a Find Duplicates merge utility for leads. Developers got SOSL text search and a getUpdated call for one-way data replication.
