What it brought

Chatter first showed up in Spring '10, available only through a limited release, with feeds and profiles; it required the restyled user interface theme that debuted in the same release. S-controls were deprecated: orgs that had never created one, and all new orgs, could no longer make them, though existing s-controls kept working. Service Cloud accounted for roughly a third of the 135 notes. Sales teams got Quotes on opportunities, and products, price books and schedules came to Professional Edition. Developers got API version 18.0, multilevel master-detail relationships, and change sets, still in beta, for moving metadata from sandbox to production.
