What it brought

Data.com was the largest theme in Summer '12, led by Data.com Clean with scheduled and manual clean jobs, match results, clean status fields and record match rate reporting for accounts, contacts and leads. With Open CTI, agents no longer each had to install a CTI adapter on their machine: partners could build telephony integrations that run in the browser. Case Feed became customizable with Visualforce publisher components, and the open source Salesforce Mobile SDK shipped with native OAuth for Android and iOS. Internet Explorer 6 was dropped from supported browsers, and the Apex Package.Version methods were desupported.
