What it brought

LockerService, a critical update since Summer '16, is now enforced for all orgs, so Lightning components run isolated under stricter rules. Platform Events are generally available as an enterprise messaging layer for publishing and subscribing to custom notifications. Einstein Vision goes GA with a free monthly prediction allowance, and Einstein now spans 28 notes covering lead scoring, automated contacts and recommendations. Salesforce DX is in beta with scratch orgs, second-generation packaging and an open-source Visual Studio Code extension pack. Stay-in-Touch Requests are officially retired.
