What it brought
Change Data Capture is generally available, publishing near-real-time record changes so external systems can stay in sync. Two long retirement clocks start: Customizable Forecasting and original Territory Management are both scheduled to retire in Summer '20. Developers can build and share their own Salesforce CLI plug-ins at GA, and Apex picks up the Callable interface for loose coupling between packages. In Shield, the Cache-Only Key Service is in beta, so you can hold key material outside Salesforce. Communities get CMS for Community Cloud in beta.
